My practice revolves around listening and careful attention.
I emphasize inclusive and patient-empowered care as part of trauma-informed practice. My clinical focus is on pain management, disability needs and accessibility, chronic conditions, and stress relief particularly for sensitive individuals and the LGBTQIA+ community.
I am aware that many individuals avoid healthcare because of fear of judgment. It is difficult to face challenging health needs if you have negative past experiences that involve feelings of shame or humiliation. Not only do I highly value patient privacy, but it is my intention to uphold a standard of care that is based in compassion, not blame. We can work with where you are—this is a different kind of care.

It is my firm belief that preventative medicine is the vital to reshaping the patient-practitioner relationship. Medicine should do more than just sustain life—it should nourish it.
